Apex-Pro ptsconfig utility

The PTSCONFIG utility is a console application that allows you to configure the Apex-Pro application. Instructions for access to the PTSCONFIG utility are as follows:

Step 1 : Select setup CIC button on the CIC display.

Step 2 : Select the service password tab.

Step 3 : In the password window type mms_com and click Apply.
An MSDOS command prompt window will appear.

Before proceeding you MUST obtain the Mission Critical IP address to the Apex-Pro application (e.g. 126.1.x.x – the IP address label is on the top right hand side of the CIC directly above the Apex-Pro network interface card IP address of 119.1.1.2)

Step 4 : In the MSDOS window type cd c:\program files\marquette\pts\x.x (where x.x is the current revision of the Apex-Pro software, e.g. 1.1) then press Enter.

Step 5 : When the new directory prompt appears, type ptsconfig 126.x.x.x.
When the following appears:
Attempting to get connection port from 126.x.x.x
Connecting to 126.x.x.x on port xxxx
Connected…
Press Ctrl + ] to disconnect

you are connected. You can use the following commands.

Typing help at the prompt will list all of the following commands:

DISPLAY Commands:
These commands only display the Apex-Pro information.
Syntax: - display <space> tower <enter>
tower Apex-Pro tower's full name "UNIT|NAME
software Software versions for everything (main, rack, etc...)
build Date and Time the software was built
patient Patient information: TTX, Tower and Receiver numbers
patreceiver Information about the patient's receiver and transmitter
ip IP address used by the Apex-Pro application to talk to the unity network
rack IP address used by the Apex-Pro application to talk to the Rack network
receiver Receiver/Unit assignments for this Apex-Pro tower
ttx Network-wide in-use TTX list (from TTX Master) (includes CDT-LAN)
unitlist Network-wide unit/receiver list (from TTX Master)

MODIFY COMMANDS:
These commands allow modification to the Apex-Pro setup.
Syntax: - modify<space> tower<enter>
unit Assigns the Apex-Pro a unit name (this is not a filter)
tower Assigns the Apex-Pro tower name
ip Assigns the IP address used by the Apex-Pro application to talk to the unity network
rack Assigns the IP address used by the Apex-Pro application to talk top the Rack network
receiver Assigns Receiver/Unit assignments for this Apex-Pro tower (this is a filter, and will allow only assigned units to admit)

OTHER COMMANDS:
admit Admits a patient to this Apex-Pro tower ("admit shows usage) (syntax: admit <space><unit><space><name or -><space><ttx#><space><age>
discharge Discharges a patient from this Apex-Pro tower ("discharge shows usage) (syntax: discharge <unit|bed>
dload Download rack software ("dload shows usage)
resetrack Resets the receiver sub system immediately with no confirmation
blink

Blink receiver sub system LED(s) according to:
- Entered patient name (unit|bed)
- Entered Apex-Pro application IP address
- Entered Apex-Pro application IP address and receiver number
- Stops any and all blinking (syntax: blink stop
boot Reboots the PC ("DDMM password & confirmation)
shutdown Restarts the Apex-Pro application ("DDMM password & confirmation)
statistics
- waveform
- wavereset
- histogram
- histreset
Displays Apex-Pro software performance statistics:
- Waveform data latency timing through Apex-Pro software
- Reset waveform data latency timing counters
- Waveform data timing through Apex-Pro software
- Reset waveform data timing counters
storeecg Store a file containing raw patient ECG sample data
